All American Ready Mix, a leading supplier of high-quality ready-mix concrete around central Illinois, is seeking experienced and reliable Ready Mix Concrete Delivery Drivers to join our growing team. As a Delivery Driver, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the timely and accurate delivery of our ready-mix concrete products to construction sites throughout the area.

Responsibilities:

• Safely operate and maneuver a concrete mixer truck to deliver ready-mix concrete to job sites
• Perform daily pre- and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure proper functioning and safety
• Follow delivery schedules and routes as assigned by dispatch to ensure on-time deliveries
• Collaborate with customers and on-site personnel to determine the appropriate location for concrete placement
• Operate the mixer truck’s chute to accurately discharge concrete as directed by the customer
• Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including delivery tickets and any necessary paperwork
• Communicate effectively with dispatch, customers, and other team members to provide updates on delivery status and any issues that may arise
• Adhere to all safety regulations and company policies, including wearing appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE)
• Assist with the maintenance and cleanliness of the mixer truck and other equipment as needed.

Qualifications:

• Valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL-B) with a clean driving record
• Previous experience operating a concrete mixer truck or other heavy equipment preferred. Will teach
• Familiarity with DOT regulations and safety procedures
• Ability to read maps, follow directions, and navigate to job sites efficiently
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including early mornings and occasional weekends
• Physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform frequent climbing, bending, and twisting
• Commitment to maintaining a safe and professional work environment
